HKU Faculty of Education is ranked World Number 5 in the 2023 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject

The Faculty of Education at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) is ranked fifth globally in the latest Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2023 by Subject. The Faculty has risen one place in 2023, having been ranked sixth in 2022. The other universities in the top five for Education are: 1) Stanford University, 2) the University of California, Berkeley, 3) Harvard University and 4) the University of Cambridge. 

Professor Yang Rui, Dean of the Faculty said, “We are glad to occupy the fifth place in the latest rankings. Our achievement is the collective effort of our staff, students and alumni. We will continue to strive for excellence in teaching and research and to sustain our global reputation.”
