Background of Co-organiser

 

Established in 2000 with the support of the Quality Education Fund, Hong Kong Education City (EdCity) was incorporated in 2002 to become a wholly-owned company of the Government. Its mission is to enable better adaptation to change curriculum initiatives through technology.

 

Through synergy arising from teachers, students and parents closely collaborating with our partners, we are proactively building an interactive service platform that is beneficial for both learning and teaching.

 

Objectives

 

Assist students in understanding and developing the Five Major Attributes through various learning projects.

 

  1. Positive Mindset and Value
  2. Innovation and Creativity
  3. Communication and Collaboration
  4. Citizenship
  5. Skills and Knowledge

 

Project Details

 

  • Develop thematic content for projects
  • Prepare promotion plan for projects
  • Manage and conduct different learning programmes
  • Take up ad-hoc duties as required

 

Project involved during the EL period and timeline:

 

  • Student Schemes PICCK 2024/25 to be commenced in September

 

Date

 

  • 23 September - 29 October 2024
  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
  • Saturday (on request)

 

Location

 

Hong Kong Education City, Sha Kok Estate, Shatin, New Territories, Hong Kong

 

Eligibility

 

  • PGDE (full-time) students of all majors
  • Working experience in any industry is preferred

11:59pm, 28 August 2024

 

  • Complete the application form at HKU Moodle (Part 1) AND
  • Upload the following documents to the respective project folder at HKU Moodle (Part 2) (Please combine all documents into one Word/PDF file)
    1. A personal statement (of not more than 200 words) explaining why you would like to join this EL project
    2. Your updated CV with academic result in public examination(s).
  • Shortlisted students may be invited to attend an interview arranged by EdCity (details to be confirmed).
