Experiential Learning at Principal Chan Free Tutorial World (Mun Chung Kwai Chung Learning Centre)
Background of Co-organiser
Principal Chan Free Tutorial World was established in April 2011. It is a non-profit organisation recognised by the HKSAR Government (Registration Number: 91/11019).
With the support of many generous people in the society who have become our volunteer teachers, we provide absolutely FREE learning support to the underprivileged children who have financial difficulties. Our scope of services includes the following:
- One-to-one tutorials
- Playgroup and pre-school courses
- Small-group learning classes
- Talent development classes (musical instruments, photography, drawings, etc.)
- Extra-curricular activities (outdoor visits, parents and children workshops, English summer camps, etc.)
Project Details
Students are invited to support our education works by:
- supporting our new playgroup/pre-school lesson plan with our teachers
- providing small group learning classes and extra-curricular activities to our beneficiaries
- assisting in the general operation for the programme
- assisting in regional promotion programmes to attract potential students and volunteer teachers.

- Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm

Eligibility
PGDE (full-time) students of all majors, preferably in Early Childhood Education

- A personal statement (of not more than 200 words) explaining why you would like to join this EL project

- Shortlisted students may be invited to attend an interview arranged by Principal Chan Free Tutorial World (details to be confirmed).
