Experiential Learning at Knights Nurturing Foundation

Background of Co-organiser

Knights Nurturing Foundation is based in Hong Kong and Macau, specialising in providing international STEAM education projects and competitions for primary and secondary students. Our aim is to offer a variety of international STEAM competitions to enhance the multifaceted development of students.

Here are the international education projects we are hosting:

1. Future City® Competition

The Future City® is an international interdisciplinary competition that involves subjects such as mathematics, geography, design, chemistry, and more. It encourages students to learn about social issues. Participants will share and design blueprints for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, centered around the theme of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations.

2. The International Olympiad of Knowledge (IKO)

This is an annual Olympic competition aimed at discovering top students across various subjects. Participants have the freedom to choose and engage in subjects based on their interests and strengths, which enables them to assess their performance on a global scale. The test does not have a specific examination scope, allowing students to evaluate their daily learning outcomes. The assessment subjects include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, World History, and English.

3. Road To Universe series

The "Road To Universe" series is a program focused on aerospace activities. We hope to engage students in learning about aerospace knowledge and making rockets, targeting primary and secondary school students, as well as younger children. Our aim is to encourage students to learn about future aerospace developments, astronomy, and multidisciplinary learning.
