Background of Co-organiser
Ednovators is a Hong Kong charitable organisation founded in 2015 by a group of cross-sector innovators. We are committed to inspiring the community to transform local education through providing incubation training, catalysing local and overseas dialogues, and connecting cross-sector pioneers, with the clear goal to co-create local education innovations and equip our students to face the fast-changing 21st century.
Objectives
Ednovators is looking for passionate and empathetic students who have a learning mindset and an interest in embracing innovative education to join us and work to transform education together.
Project Details
Students are expected to provide support in the following areas:
- project support to different programmes such as Future Education in Action Project and JC Innopower (see below) in planning and implementing programmes that facilitate life planning education and enhance teacher innovation capacity
- content for Ednovators social media channel to maximise our appearance and impact to the public
- liaison with teachers and external stakeholders
- ad-hoc support as need arises.
Students will be given multiple exposures to the following educational projects:
- Future Education in Action Project
- Initiated and funded by The D. H. Chen Foundation
- Co-creating with stakeholders to nurture future-ready students with compassion values, essential future skills and competencies.
- JC InnoPower
- Initiated and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust
- 10-week talent development programme offering diversified learning and development opportunities, including study leave, overseas exchange and cross-sectoral leadership collaboration, to encourage teachers to innovate in response to educational challenges.

Eligibility
PGDE (full-time) students of all majors who have the following qualities:
- Good proficiency in both English and Chinese
- Passion for education innovation and enhancing teacher innovation capacity
- Self-motivated, creative thinking, detail-oriented and organised
- Good team player and eager to learn new things
- Some experience in organising and implementing event is preferred.

- A personal statement (of not more than 200 words) explaining why you would like to join this EL project
- Your updated CV.
- Shortlisted students may be invited to attend an interview arranged by Ednovators (details to be confirmed).
