  • Dr. Hu's research focuses on the intersection of information technologies and user behaviors. She uses machine learning and data mining methods to analyze user interactions with information systems. She mainly works in three domains: learning analytics, affective computing, and cultural heritage informatics.

If you are proficient in machine learning and data analysis (e.g., Python, Matlab), web programming (PHP, JavaScript, etc.), MySQL, and/or familiar with visualization packages (e.g., AngularJS, Django), please feel free to contact her. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, React and virtual reality will be an advantage.
