Dr Vincent Wong is the Senior Lecturer [with HKU Faculty Outstanding Teaching Award in 2022-2023], MEd Specialism Coordinator in Educational, Administration & Management, Education Policy Unit Committee of Management. Vincent is an international expert on leadership in Education, Technology and Talents [ETT] areas, including educational administration, education law & educational-legal policy, edu-preneurialship, innovation, employability, human capital, vocational education, Qualification Framework, talent development & K-12 education. Dr Wong is also an international-renowned specialist in Inter-disciplinary area in "Enterpreneurialship" and "Legal Lens". Vincent is highly committed to bringing in real-life scenarios into his teaching to fill in the theory-practice gap, with his professional appointments and involvements in international and local contexts. Along the years, Vincent's professional expertise is also highly valued and recognized by international and local government and professional communities.

Regarding his teaching philosophy, his motto is "Teaching for the workforce of the future", where he proactively integrates elements of real-world, real-work, real-policy context and co-operative (Co-op) education [RRRC] into his curriculum design. He strongly believes that through international, industry and government partnerships and public services, teachers can bring in RRRC elements (such as via arrangement of experiential learning, industry visits, invitation of leaders from the Government, Legislature, Enterprises, Listed Companies, etc as curriculum partners) in their teaching and benefit their students, especially in enhancing their critical thinking, communication skills, teamwork, work professionalism, citizenship, career prospects and employability.

Dr Wong has been a Visiting Research Fellow (VRF) in Oxford Department of Education (also a VRF in Oxford Critical Digital Education Research Group) and an Academic Visitor in Oxford Faculty of Law (CFC).
In Oxford University, he is Founder and Leader of two Inter-disciplinary Discussion Group (IDG):
1. "Leading Education with Legal Lens (LELL)"
(which aims to explore the intersection between education and law in relation to educational leadership, school issues, advices to governments and policy-makers)
2. "Leading Education with Edu-preneurial Leadership (LEEL)"
(which explores the intersection between education and entrepreneurial leadership in relation to educational leadership, school development and advice to governments and policy makers).
Moreover, Vincent is the Oxford BIPOC STEM Mentor for STEM Departments/ Mathematical, Physical, and Life Sciences (MPLS) Division [also a network promoting equality and inclusiveness in Oxford University]. In addition, Vincent has been a regular speaker in Oxford Forum of Open Scholarship. He is also actively participating in scholarly activities of Oxford Research Strategy and Policy Unit [e.g. Oxford Berlin School-Open & Responsible Research]. In Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Vincent is the proposal reviewer of Innovation and Entrepreneurialship.

Internationally, Vincent is also the Chairman (RC), Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (UN-Public Admin Network affiliated) [with unanimous and robust support from senior government officials and academia from all member states/countries since 2019]. In UK, he is in International Advisory Board for Durham University Evidence Center for Education. In US, Vincent is the only Grand Jury (VIP Judge) from Asia in the QS Re-imagine Education (also known as Oscar in Education). He is also the invited policy leadership expert of US Global Liver Institute on health-related issues in NASH day. In Japan, Vincent is Visiting Scholar in School of Business Administration, Meiji University, Japan. In HK, Vincent is a speaker in HKU LKS Faculty of Medicine & Bau Institute of Medical and Health Sciences Education in Frontiers Conferences on leadership in curriculum innovation, as well as invited speaker for leadership development for Pharmacists in Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy.

In Hong Kong, as appointed by the Chief Executive (CE), Dr Vincent Wong has been appointed as a Board member of the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC), an independent statutory body responsible for overseeing the implementation and enforcement of the four anti-discrimination laws in Hong Kong [Cap 480, Cap 487, Cap 527, Cap 602], promoting equal opportunities, eliminating discrimination and building an inclusive, barrier-free and harmonious society. He has served as Deputy Convenor of Administration and Finance Committee. Also, he is a member of the Legal and Complaints Committee.

Besides, Vincent has been appointed by the Secretary for Education (SED) as a member in the Steering Committee on Promotion of Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) and Qualifications Framework in the HKSAR Government, whose role is to provide valuable advice to the HKSAR Government on further promoting the development of VPET in Hong Kong through a more innovative and coordinated approach. His research in New Quality Productive Force & VPET is also funded in Public Policy Research by Chief Executive Policy Unit.

Furthermore, Vincent is also appointed by SED to serve in the Appeal Board, Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualification Ordinance (Cap. 592) [also as the member of the Rules Committee established under section 17 of the Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualification Ordinance.] Tapping on his professional knowledge in education, training and law, Vincent, together with other members of the Appeal Board, serve as an independent Board for aggrieved parties to review the decision of the Accreditation Authority or Qualifications Register Authority on accreditation or qualifications registration matters.

Besides, Vincent had been Visiting Scholar of School of Business Administration, Meiji University, Japan.
In Hong Kong, Vincent is appointed by Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited (Cyberport) [wholly owned by the Hong Kong SAR Government--Hong Kong’s digital technology flagship and incubator for entrepreneurship with over 1,900 members including over 800 onsite and close to 1,100 offsite start-ups and technology companies: as Silicon Valley in HK] as a mentor of "Cyberport Mentor Services" for “Cyberport Incubation Program” and "Cyberport Creative Micro Fund' under “Cyberport Entrepreneurs” of Cyberport. Professionally, Vincent is also the Fellow (the highest membership grade by assessment) of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors [a leading director and entrepreneurial institute in HKSAR].
Dr Wong has also been serving in top-tier international enterprise and start-up competitions (where UNICORN has born), such as Grand Jury for enterprises and start-ups for QS Re-imagination Award and mentor for enterprises for the HICOOL Global Entrepreneur Summit and Entrepreneurship Competition. In addition, he has been appointed by renowned and well-established enterprise as "Entrepreneurial Advisor to Board of Directors" for offering strategies on entrepreneurial leadership in operation, value-creation, HRM re-engineering, corporate imaging, talent management, leadership succession, brand management, sustainability and risk management etc.
