*We strongly encourage applicants to submit their applications in the main round in which the majority of our student places will be offered. Also, it is only in the main round that PhD applicants may be considered for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship scheme.

Important Note to Prospective Students

The Faculty will only consider applications submitted for the Main Round and First Clearing Round of admissions. Applications will not be accepted for the Second Clearing Round.

Important Note to Prospective Part-time Students

The Faculty has a very limited number of part-time MPhil/PhD student places for which applications are called. Applicants interested in pursuing part-time research postgraduate studies are encouraged also to apply to the Doctor of Education (EdD) programme.
