Faculty of Education Students shine at The 13th Hong Kong Outstanding Prospective Teachers Award

The Faculty of Education is delighted to share that seven students from the Faculty were recognised in The 13th Hong Kong Outstanding Prospective Teachers Award, organised by the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association and the Hong Kong Prospective Teachers Association. The award presentation ceremony was held on March 22, 2026 to celebrate excellence in teaching among aspiring educators.
This year, a total of 50 outstanding students from tertiary institutions across Hong Kong were awarded in recognition of their passion and exemplary performance as prospective teachers. Among them, seven students are from the HKU Faculty of Education. The rigorous selection process involved multiple rounds of evaluation, including microteaching assessments and interviews conducted by more than 100 principals, school leaders, and education scholars.

Gold Award:

Bronze Award:

• Kwong Yuen Ying [BA&BEd(LangEd)-Chin]
