31 Faculty of Education Scholars honoured in Stanford’s 2026 Top 2% Scientists List

31 members of the Faculty of Education have been named on Stanford University’s 2026 Top 2% Scientists List, in recognition of their outstanding scholarly contributions and global influence. This accomplishment highlights the collective strength of the Faculty’s academic community and its dedication to fostering research excellence that contributes to educational advancement.
Stanford’s Top 2% Scientists List comprises two categories: “Single Recent Year” and “Career Long”. The former recognises research influence in the most recent year, while the latter acknowledges impact over the course of an academic career. Among the 31 Faculty members included on the list, 20 have been ranked in both categories, demonstrating the sustained excellence and far-reaching significance of their work over time.
Scholars on the Top 2% Scientists List are classified into 20 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields using the Science-Metrix classification. Inclusion is based on ranking in the top 100,000 scientists by c-score or a percentile rank of 2% or higher within a sub-field.
