HKU Faculty of Education X Wenzhou Education Bureau: Leading for Impact: Innovative School Leadership & Development in Practice (Oct 26, 2025 to Nov 1, 2025)
Updated on November 14, 2025 (Fri)

In a joint effort to foster a comprehensive and forward-looking educational environment, the Faculty of Education at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and the Wenzhou Education Bureau signed a Memorandum of Understanding in April 2025. Building on this partnership, the HKU Faculty of Education organised the inaugural Interflow Programme, which included a training course for principals from Wenzhou and coordinated visits to local schools in Hong Kong.
The Innovative School Leadership and Development Training Programme was successfully conducted from October 26 to November 1 2025. The programme focused on key themes such as educational administration, assessment, change management, leadership, applications of artificial intelligence in education, and neuroscience. In addition to participating in interactive workshops and school visits, the principals also developed and evaluated innovative pilot initiatives tailored to the specific needs of their local educational contexts.
The event concluded with a closing ceremony. With fresh perspectives and practical strategies, the principals are empowered to initiate context-sensitive and future-oriented reforms in their schools.
