HKU Faculty of Education ranks 7th in the  Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject 2024

The Faculty of Education at The University of Hong Kong is ranked seventh globally in the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024. This is the tenth consecutive year in which the Faculty has been in the top ten QS rankings by subject.

 

Performance indicators are used to assess the universities, with weighting recalibrated for each subject. For the education subject, the indicators and their weightings are as follows: 1) academic reputation (50%); 2) employer reputation (10%); 3) citations per paper (20%); and 4) H-Index (20%). With an overall score of 88.3, the Faculty performed well across all criteria, showcasing its well-rounded achievements.

The Faculty’s outstanding performance is reflected in various world university rankings, reaffirming its leading position in education both globally and locally.
