Jockey Club “Play n Gain” Project
Day Day Play at Tai Kwun
The Jockey Club “Play n Gain” Project will organise a parent-child event called “Day Day Play at Tai Kwun” on November 20, 2021 (Saturday). The project is implemented by the Centre for Advancement in Inclusive and Special Education (CAISE) in the Faculty of Education of The University of Hong Kong and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.
The event has a rich programme, including classic games such as “Rock, Paper, Scissors” and “What time is it Mr Fox”, and other games like “Memory Agent Team”, “Saving the Princess” and “Magic Ball Battle”.
The event aims to three-dimensionally present the “game features” of the Project in a game-based way. It enables participants to understand that the games we play have real learning objectives, do not require props, and can be played anytime, anywhere, with anyone. Parents can modify the games to make them more playful and interactive. They can also communicate and grow with their kids via interactive games.
The event will be led by parents, pre-service teachers, senior citizens, primary students and volunteers who participate in the project. They joined training workshops in the kindergarten/community and learnt how to lead games, and then assisted in organising on-site play activities, and during the pandemic they have even learnt to lead interactive games online. In this event at Tai Kwun, these “Game Ambassadors” will further promote play education to the community and lead on-site interactive games.

賽馬會「玩學相長」計劃
互動遊戲日日玩@大館
由香港大學教育學院融合與特殊教育研究發展中心（教研發展中心）推行，香港賽馬會慈善信託基金捐助的賽馬會「玩學相長」計劃，將於2021年11月20日（星期六）舉辦「互動遊戲日日玩@大館」親子活動。
當日活動內容豐富，包括「包剪揼」和「狐狸先生幾多點」等經典遊戲，以及「記憶特工隊」、「拯救公主」和「魔法球大戰」等，旨在以遊戲方式立體呈現計劃的「遊戲特色」— 遊戲具備學習目標，並以不需道具的互動遊戲體現「何時何人何地齊齊玩」。家長可在傳統玩法上加點變化，提升遊戲的「玩點」（即好玩指數），透過互動遊戲與子女溝通和一起成長。
當日活動將由參與計劃的家長、準教師、樂齡朋友、小領袖（小學生）及義工帶領。他們先在幼稚園／社區參與培訓工作坊，學會帶領遊戲，繼而積極參與組織實體遊戲日。疫情期間，他們更學會在網上帶領互動遊戲。這班「遊戲大使」將在是次活動中，進一步把遊戲教育推展到社區，在現場帶領互動遊戲。
