Faculty Awards for Outstanding Researchers 2025-26

We are delighted to announce the results of the Faculty Awards for Outstanding Researchers 2025-26.

Professor Timothy Hew of the Academic Unit of Mathematics, Science, and Technology was selected for the Faculty Outstanding Researcher Award for his outstanding research accomplishments, scholarly contributions, and significant impact in his field.

Professor Lili Yang, Assistant Professor of the Academic Unit of Social Contexts and Policies of Education, received the Faculty Outstanding Young Researcher Award, which recognises the outstanding research accomplishments of young academic and research staff who have demonstrated strong research potential and made contributions to the advancement of knowledge.

Professor Gaowei Chen, Associate Professor of the Academic Unit of Mathematics, Science, and Technology, won the Faculty Outstanding Research Student Supervisor Award for the highly effective supervisory guidance he provides to his research postgraduate students.
