Dr Vincent Wong re-elected Chairman of the Resolution Committee, EROPA and appointed as judge of the QS Reimagine Education Awards

Dr Vincent Wong, Senior Lecturer in the Faculty’s Academic Unit of Social Contexts and Policies of Education, has been re-elected as the Chairman of the Resolution Committee, Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA).

 

For this re-election, Dr Wong has received a unanimous vote from all representing senior government officials or academia from the member states. EROPA is an international organisation devoted to the development of public administration to advance the economic and social development of countries in Asia and the Pacific. It consists of state members in the region, institutions and groups in the area such as institutes or schools of public administration, universities, agencies and municipal corporations and individuals whose achievements in the field of governance and public administration are recognised.

 

In the meantime, Dr Wong has also been appointed as a member of the judging panel of the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2021 among fierce selection process this year. The QS Reimagine Education Awards are co-organised by Quacquarelli Symonds, compilers of the QS World University Rankings, and The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) – Learning Lab. It is also known as an Education “Oscars”. The Awards are designed to reward institutions of higher education that have created and implemented outstanding new approaches to teaching and learning, particularly those that can demonstrate the uniqueness, innovation, and efficacy of their pedagogy and employability.
