Congratulations to our high-achieving Bachelor of Science in Information Management students!

We are pleased to announce that students from our Bachelor of Science in Information Management [BSc(IM)] programme received the Excellent Financial Education Project 2020/21 Bronze Award in the Personal Finance Ambassador Programme 2020/21, co-organised by the Investor and Financial Education Council, the HKEX Foundation Limited and St James’ Settlement.

The team, called “Coin U”, promoted knowledge of personal finance and financial health by means of social media accounts, educational videos and booth games on campus. The team consisted of Lee Yiu Cheong Zac, Chan Mei Po Mabel, Wong Tsz Wing Stephanie and Leung Sze Ki Zita from the BSc(IM) programme, together with Wong Chin Lung from the Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences programme.

This year’s programme was themed “Keep Financially Fit”. Thirteen teams from 11 tertiary institutions were trained as Personal Finance Ambassadors at a virtual day camp. The ambassadors developed various creative and interesting financial education projects to promote financial wellness messages to their fellow tertiary students. Our BSc(IM) students have also been active in other extra-curricular activities, and they often receive awards. One recent notable example is Zac Lee, who was the 2nd runner-up in the JCI World Public Speaking and Debate Championship (Hong Kong Selection) 2021.

Congratulations to our students on their achievements. Keep up the good work!
