Professor Kevin W. H. Tai receives the Study UK Alumni Awards 2026 for Social Action

We are delighted to share that Professor Kevin W. H. Tai, Assistant Professor in the Faculty’s Academic Unit of Language and Literacy Education and Co-Director of the Centre for Advancement in Inclusive and Special Education, was named a Winner of the Social Action Award in the Study UK Alumni Awards 2026, organised by the British Council (Hong Kong).

 

The Social Action Award is a prestigious international award that recognises UK alumni who have made an exceptional contribution and commitment to creating positive social change and improving the lives of others. Such a recognition acknowledges the impact of Professor Tai's research on translanguaging pedagogy, which aims at fostering social inclusion and justice in multilingual classrooms.
