HKU Information Day 2022 for Undergraduate Admissions

The HKU Information Day 2022 for Undergraduate Admissions (IDay) successfully took place on October 29, 2022. Ever since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, this is the first IDay held in the face-to-face mode on the HKU campus.

The IDay is the annual flagship event which provides local secondary school students and associate degree students with undergraduate admissions information. We organised a range of activities which included exhibition display to introduce our undergraduate programmes and experiential learning activities, admissions talks with Q&A sessions conducted by our teachers, and students sharing by our current students to give the audience an impression of what it is like to study in the Faculty. The Admissions Talks were attended by nearly 1,500 participants.

Our exhibition booths had been very busy for the whole day, and our Faculty members had been enthusiastically introducing our programmes to around 5,500 visitors from early morning to the evening. Visitors were keen on asking questions and participating in the interactive games at our exhibition booths.
