Professor Paul Campbell receives 2026 Emerging Scholar Award from the Educational Change SIG of AERA

We are delighted to share that Professor Paul Campbell, Assistant Professor in the Faculty’s Academic Unit of Social Contexts and Policies of Education, has received the 2026 Emerging Scholar Award from the Educational Change Special Interest Groups (SIGs) of the American Educational Research Association (AERA).

 

Professor Campbell is one of the four award winners recognised by the Education Change SIG. The Emerging Scholar Award acknowledges his work, which demonstrates creativity, rigor, and a strong commitment to equity, reflecting the core values that define the field of Educational Change.

 

Founded in 1916, the AERA is a leading national interdisciplinary research association dedicated to advancing knowledge about education, encouraging scholarly inquiry, and promoting the use of research to improve education and serve the public good. It comprises over 25,000 members worldwide, including educators, researchers, and distinguished professionals in education research. Within the AERA, the SIGs provide a forum for the involvement of individuals drawn together by a common interest in a field of study, teaching, or research.
