Jumping into the BASc(SDS) programme pushed me to step out of my comfort zone, shifting my mindset from simply consuming information to questioning the underlying patterns behind it. Throughout the journey, I have learnt a lot of essential techniques such as data mining, machine learning, AI analysis and more, which are all closely related to our modern technological society. These skills are not just about building predictive models or rigorous data cleaning, but also about how I can make improvements and impact society, providing me with wider and new insights to spot opportunities in the world.
