Experiential Learning

Founded in 2014, EDiversity has been promoting choice and diversity in education based on our staunch belief in respecting children’s innate and diverse needs. Our strategy is to focus on empowering parents and teachers, so they can have the mindset and skills to build an empathetic, nurturing and child-oriented environment at home and at school. We have been showcasing possibilities in education to push for rethinking and therefore a paradigm culture shift in education. We are the only NGO in Hong Kong bringing a thorough change to the learning process in formal primary curriculum through the project.

Objectives

• Instil values and positive attitudes among primary students through competency-based Humanities x Science curriculum

• Empower teachers student-centred mindset and skills in curriculum design and teaching pedagogies
• Enhance positive parent-child relationship and parent-school collaboration

Project Details

• Assist in primary Humanities and Science curriculum development and materials preparations for student-centred activities
• Assist in collaborative learning activities in "Learning By Doing" schools
• Assist in teacher development activities, including but not limit to teacher workshops, co-planning meetings, online learning platform for teachers
• Prepare promotional materials for raising public awareness in whole person education
• Join the task force of EdFest 2026 (co-organised with local educational NGOs, bringing together educators, schools, and cross-sector partners to share and reflect on education innovations that have been developed and tested in Hong Kong in recent years)
• Optional: Be a helper in the Kids’ AI Summit 2026 Thailand organised by EDiversity’s Partner, Kigumi, October 29 to 31, 2026 *self-financed*
