Big Bang Academy redefines Science education for children of 3-12 years old. We build tech-enabled solutions to make STEAM learning effective, engaging and accessible. Our mission is to promote and inspire self-driven learning through everything hands-on. We believe doing Science is the best medium to ignite children’s passion in learning, to enable them to become motivated and life-long learners.

Objectives
To give opportunities to PGDE students to:
- work in an award-winning ed-tech start-up that aims to inspire children with innovative learning
- teach and develop curriculum for primary students in local and international schools.
Project Details
Details of work assigned to students:
- Conduct classes in various local and international schools, such as Catholic Mission School, Delia School of Canada, and Hong Kong International School
- Write and develop hands-on STEAM curriculum for K-12 students
- Assist in any ad-hoc tasks assigned.
Project involved during the EL period:
- Create and/or update an intuitive database infrastructure for curriculum usage (PowerPoint depository, project management)
- Assist in developing elective courses for Big Bang Academy’s STEAM Curriculum
- Update and improve core courses for Big Bang Academy’s STEAM Curriculum.

Eligibility
- PGDE (full-time) students majoring in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Early Childhood Education
Preferably with Sexual Conviction Record Check and/or Standard First Aid Certification but not compulsory
