Experiential Learning

World Vision Hong Kong

Public Education at World Vision Hong Kong

Background of Co-organiser

World Vision Hong Kong is a Christian humanitarian organisation working to create lasting change in the lives of children, families and communities living in poverty. Their Global Citizenship Programme aims to inspire students to be agents of change in the fight against global poverty.

To foster a sense of global citizenship among Hong Kong students, World Vision Hong Kong provides various school-based educational services and online resources. These include awareness programmes, vision talks, experiential workshops and engagement activities for primary and secondary students. PGDE placement students have the opportunity to participate in the design and implementation of these services and resources, and to learn how to care for the world’s vulnerable communities and combat global poverty.
