Background of Co-organiser

Africa Center Hong Kong is a platform and creative hub that fosters value-creating interactions between African and non-African communities in Asia.

Objectives

To contribute to and gain insight from high-impact initiatives across Africa Center Hong Kong
To actively participate in our educational and cultural programmes, as well as proactively support other colleagues within our organisation
To research, create and educate others for a conscious world
To expand your perspectives and grow both professionally and intellectually.

Project Details

Details of work assigned to students:

Be involved in a coordination and administration capacity in our programmes
Be involved in content creation and curation of our programmes
Plan and execute events that promote the missions of the Africa Center
Ad hoc tasks.

Date

25 September - 31 October 2023
Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm (lunch break from 12:30pm to 1:30pm)
When there is a programme on the weekend and if the student is involved in the programme, we will ask him/her to attend if they are available. We will inform them beforehand in such cases.

Africa Center Hong Kong, 12/F, 21 Hillwood Road, Tsim Sha Tsui

Eligibility

PGDE (full-time) students of all majors

Shortlisted students may be invited to attend an interview arranged by Africa Center Hong Kong (details to be confirmed).
