Experiential Learning at Principal Chan Free Tutorial World (Grateful Duck Learning Centre)

Background of Co-organiser

Principal Chan Free Tutorial World was established in April 2011. It is a non-profit organisation recognised by the HKSAR Government (Registration Number: 91/11019).

With the support of many generous people in the society who have become our volunteer teachers, we provide absolutely FREE learning support to the under-privileged children who have financial difficulties. Our scope of services includes the following:

One-to-one tutorials
Playgroup and pre-school courses
Small-group learning classes
Talent development classes (musical instruments, photography, drawings, etc.)
Extra-curricular activities (outdoor visits, parents and children workshops, English summer camps, etc.)

Project Details

Students are invited to support our education works by:

designing and teaching Different Talent Development courses, including teaching materials and syllabus
organising workshops and lectures
planning and publicising the center’s service activities
assisting in centre administration when required

Eligibility

PGDE (full-time) students of all majors
