Miss Chang Xingyu Anano

The MSc(TDLL) programme, previously known as MSc(ITE), was instrumental in helping me discover my research interest in technology-enhanced English learning. It provided a foundation that I began exploring during the programme and have since continued into my PhD studies. Through the curriculum, I honed my ability to read critically, think logically, and write in a rigorous academic style. Thanks to the professional guidance and generous support of the teachers, I gained significant confidence in research and enjoyed an immensely valuable study journey at HKU!

The MSc(TDLL) programme at HKU was an rewarding journey. As an award-winning director and the owner of a production company with 25 years of filmmaking experience, a senior university lecturer and father of two, I have long been passionate about education, especially the latest development of technology-enhanced learning. HKU’s world-class Faculty of Education provided me with rigorous academic training about education technology and invaluable guidance from dedicated professors. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at HKU, especially the hours spent writing research papers, which deepened my understanding and inspired my pursuit of academic research.
