Areas of Expertise
Yun-Chieh (Catherine) completed her Ph.D. at the University of Birmingham’s Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues in the UK, under the supervision of Professor Kristján Kristjánsson. She has developed an interdisciplinary framework drawing from virtue ethics, social psychology, developmental psychology, and multicultural education. Her work incorporates empirical data collected from the UK, Taiwan, and Slovakia to support and refine her original theoretical multicultural character education framework.
