"Step for Education" Hiking Day

Event Highlights

The year 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of the Faculty of Education at The University of Hong Kong. In celebration of this milestone, the Faculty has planned a series of activities for alumni, students, staff and friends of the Faculty to participate in. To kick off the celebration series, we are delighted to announce the "Step for Education" Hiking Day, scheduled for May 18, 2024 (originally scheduled for May 4, 2024).

This activity aims to unite the community of the Faculty of Education, bringing people together to commemorate the establishment of the Faculty while enjoying the beauty of nature. It provides an excellent opportunity for the participants to catch up with old friends and make new connections. Professor Yang Rui, Dean of the Faculty, will be joining us to explore the scenic wonders along the hiking trail.

In addition to offering participants an enjoyable experience of a leisurely hike, this activity also aims to solicit contributions dedicated to the Faculty of Education Development Fund. This Fund supports the sustainable development of the Faculty and fosters positive change for our future generations. For further details regarding the Fund, please visit our website here.
