Projects

Dr Cobb is a field archaeologist, a ceramics specialist, and a digital humanist.  Archaeology studies human life, communications, and development through the material remains of the past.  Dr Cobb leads fieldwork in the Near East each summer and also participates in a project in Laos.  His information science research engages with the recording and analysis of multi-modal data about the past, including 3d spatial and morphological modeling.
