As one of the few taught master’s programmes in Asia that includes a science teaching practice in International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools, the MEd in Teaching of Science in an International Context (TSIC) specialism is the quintessential stepping-stone for internationally-minded registered teachers. The TSIC specialism offers an opportunity at designated secondary schools to conduct action research for a fundamental 20,000-word dissertation meticulously supervised by specialist Teacher Education and Learning Leadership (TELL) Faculty academics. The TSIC experience was an inspirational endeavour that set me on the path to the pursuit of an education doctorate degree under the TELL umbrella at the Faculty.
