Data handling workshop: Get the basic skills for handling and analyzing data for scientific research and general purpose
Writing codes to handle data is no longer a programmer’s privilege. Basic programming skills for handling data is not just highly useful, but has also become more accessible, and will likely become a universal skill in the future. The major obstacle that hinders people from learning this skill is that they are not informed with the overall framework and the core philosophy. Once this obstacle is cleared, it is much easier to embark on the journey of learning automatic and flexible data handling. This workshop will cover basic data handling skills based on Matlab. The speaker is Dr Guang Ouyang, Assistant Professor, Academic Unit of Human Communication, Development, and Information Sciences, Faculty of Education.

編寫代碼來處理數據不再是程序員的特權。處理數據的基本編程技能不僅非常有用，而且變得更容易獲得，並很可能在未來成為一種通用技能。 阻礙人們學習這項技能的主要障礙是他們不了解整體框架和核心理念。 一旦清除了這個障礙，就更容易踏上學習自動化和靈活數據處理的旅程。本工作坊將會介紹基於Matlab的基本數據處理技術，並由香港大學教育學院溝通、發展與資訊科學學部助理教授歐阳光博士主講。
