The Faculty delivers a wide variety of community and professional services to the local community by serving on the boards of professional organizations in the disciplines of speech/language therapy, audiology and education, and on education-related boards and committees of the government and public organizations. Faculty academics also undertake consultancies for the government to inform policy-making and help shape the education system in Hong Kong.

Participating actively in the school boards of local primary and secondary schools, the Faculty serves the community through the exchange of practical experience at the University and school levels.
