KE Award 知識交流獎項

The Faculty Knowledge Exchange (KE) Awards introduced by the University aim to recognize each faculty's outstanding KE accomplishment that has made demonstrable economic, social or cultural impacts which were being achieved through an effective engagement process to transfer/exchange quality knowledge that was based on excellence in research or in teaching and learning of the University, to benefit the community, business/industry, or partner organizations. 為表揚在經濟、社會及文化上有顯著影響力的知識交流項目,大學特別設立知識交流獎項。

 

KE Award 2016 知識交流獎項

The project entitled "Reading Battle: Enhancing Students' Reading Interest and Ability with a Gamified, Self-paced, Interactive Children Literature e-Quiz Platform" by Dr Samuel Chu received the KE Award 2016. 朱啟華博士憑藉「閱讀大挑戰:以遊戲化,自主和互動的兒童文學電子測驗平台提高學生的閱讀興趣和能力」項目奪得2016年知識交流獎項

The Selection Committee’s unanimous view was that the project exhibited a nice list of publications, a good engagement process and some quantitative and qualitative impacts.  It was able to change children’s reading habit with examples provided.  The Committee was glad to see that the project provided a great opportunity to change children’s reading habit in school environments.  Moreover, it involved the local community as well as that in Taiwan and the United States. 評審委員認同此項目展現了一系列出色的出版刊物、一個精心的交流融入過程及量化與質化的影響作用,不但改變香港學童的閱讀習慣,影響更遠至台灣及美國社區。  

 

KE Award 2015 知識交流獎項

The KE Award 2015 went to a project entitled "Serving Individuals with Autism" led by Dr Carol To with Ms Winnie Cheung and Miss Carmela Tin as team members . 2015年知識交流獎項由杜潔森博士、張嘉恩女士及田采釉小姐的"Serving Individuals with Autism"項目奪得。

The Selection Committee’s unanimous view was that the project demonstrated a manageable structure for transforming research findings into knowledge accessible to the public and clinical tools for educators through effective engagement with partner organizations. It had the potential to bring further changes to improve disability employment in Hong Kong. 評審委員一致認為此項目成功將研究課題轉化及應用到社會大眾福祉上,長遠有助改善殘疾人士於本港就業的情況。

 

KE Award 2014 知識交流獎項

The project "A Meaningful Journey of Teaching and Learning of Chinese for Non-Chinese Speaking Students: Towards Local, Regional and International Advancement" by Professor Tse Shek Kam and team members comprising of Dr Mark Shum, Dr Ki Wing Wah, Dr Cheung Wai Ming, Dr Joseph Lam and Dr Elizabeth Loh won the Faculty KE Award 2014. 2014年知識交流獎項由謝錫金教授帶領的團隊,包括成員岑紹基博士、祁永華博士、張慧明博士、林偉業博士及羅嘉怡博士所進行的"A Meaningful Journey of Teaching and Learning of Chinese for Non-Chinese Speaking Students: Towards Local, Regional and International Advancement"項目奪得。

The Selection Committee unanimously agreed that the project was a comprehensive framework and massive project structure in curriculum design. It was a long-term project with meaningful initiative and great contribution to a large number of schools including kindergarten, primary and secondary schools with clear objectives in teaching and learning issues of non-Chinese speakers. The research evidence and engagement process of the project indicated that it was a first-class project which should be considered as one of the best KE projects in the University. 評審委員一致認同此項目在課程設計上全面、龐大及長遠,具清晰目標及為大量幼稚園、小學及中學的非華語學生帶來極具意義的貢獻及影響。知識交流的過程更突顯示此項目的優等及能被譽為大學知識交流的優秀項目之一。

 

KE Award 2013 知識交流獎項

Dr Tammy Y L Kwan's project titled "Achieving 'Good Teaching Practice' by Student-Teachers, with Collaborative Support from Mentor-Teachers and University-Tutors: An Exemplary Demonstration of School-University Partnerships" won the Faculty KE Award 2013. 關艷蓮博士憑"Achieving 'Good Teaching Practice' by Student-Teachers, with Collaborative Support from Mentor-Teachers and University-Tutors: An Exemplary Demonstration of School-University Partnerships"獲得2013年知識交流獎項。

The Selection Committee's unanimous view was that the project showed a wide perspective and demonstrated a well-planned and manageable structure for promoting good practice in teaching and learning. The forum was also evidently a successful one with good examples from teachers and student teachers. The Committee felt that the project had the potential to bring significant changes of attitude and practice within schools. The impact was local and practical. 評審委員贊同此項目為教與學的實踐提供了一個有計畫而且可行的模式,當中的研討會的參考價值對現職教師及準教師更有所裨益。委員認為此項目有優厚的潛質及實際的影響力為教學態度及模式帶來改變。

KE Award 2012 知識交流獎項

The Faculty KE Award 2012 went to Professor Mark Bray, for his project titled "Confronting the Shadow Education System: What Government Policies for What Private Tutoring?" 馬克貝磊教授奪得2012年知識交流獎項,得獎項目為"Confronting the Shadow Education System: What Government Policies for What Private Tutoring?"。

The Selection Committee commented that the project was a very promising research initiative that fully meets the following criteria: possesses a high level of knowledge exchange, and has an extremely effective dissemination process. The impact of the project is not just confined to the local context; the project has an international impact as well. The project demonstrates remarkable contribution, with potentially great benefits to the community, business/industry, and partner organizations. 評審委員認為此項目擁有高度及有效的知識交流過程,影響力遠超於本地及至國際,有顯著的貢獻及對社群、商界及夥伴機構有奠大的裨益。

 

 

KE Award 2011 知識交流獎項

The KE Award for the Faculty of Education in 2011 went to Dr Dorothy F P Ng - "HKU Cantonese Opera Education Research and Promotion Project". 2011年知識交流獎項由吳鳳平博士之"HKU Cantonese Opera Education Research and Promotion Project"獲得。

The Selection Committee commented that the project was a very promising research project which can see the efforts made to integrate Cantonese opera into the senior secondary curriculum. It is sound in strategy and structure with its wide coverage and emphasis in experience sharing. The project proved to be popular with the receipt of significant donations from the community. The evidence of engagement process is very impressive. With the publication of Leung Sing-boh Biography about a Cantonese opera singer, it raises the awareness of the public to understand the intangible cultural heritage. The impact of the project is not just confined to the academic circle, but also the secondary schools and the general public. 評審委員認為此項目致力將粵劇有策略地及有結構地融入中學教育課程,其知識交流過程、在社區廣泛流傳及受歡迎程度由捐助數字可見一班;梁醒波傳記的出版更喚起社會對非物質文化遺產的認識及關注,影響力不限於學術界而擴展至中學及大眾。

 

 

KE Award 2010 知識交流獎項

The 2010 Faculty of Education Academic Staff KE Award went to The School-University Partnership Team led by Dr Tammy Kwan & Dr Loretta Ho. The team was given recognition for its success in developing School-University Partnership (SUP) using the "Whole School Mentoring Support" (WSMS) approach in 9 schools over 2008, 2009 and 2010. The Team was also commended for organizing the annual Partnership Forums which have served as a good platform for knowledge exchange between the partnership scheme participants and other practitioners of the education field. 2010年知識交流教師獎項由關艷蓮博士及何敏華博士帶領的學校-大學夥伴計畫組獲得。他們於2008至2010年在九間學校推行"Whole School Mentoring Support" (WSMS)模式,每年的 夥伴研討會更成為學界重要的知識交流平台。

The 2010 Faculty of Education Student KE Award went to the Liberal Studies Service & Learning Network (LSSLN) established by undergraduates in the Bachelor of Education Liberal Studies programme (BEd LS) with an executive cabinet comprising 9 students in the programme, led by the Chairman, Ken Chiu, and the Vice Chairmen, Michelle Chow and Kenny Tung. The students in the LSSLN were commended for their efforts to serve the community with what they have learnt from the BEd LS programme, and the Selection Committee was impressed by their self-initiative and commitment. The Selection Committee also recognized the mentorship of Dr Cheung Chi Kim, Dr Ki Wing Wah and Dr Lee Yeung who had strongly supported and nurtured this group of students. 2010年知識交流學生獎項由就讀教育學士(通識研究)的同學成立的Liberal Studies Service & Learning Network (LSSLN)獲得。同學致力利用課堂學得的知識自發地及有承擔地服務社會,而指導老師也提供了強大的支援及培育。
