International Collaboration

The Faculty aspires to lead the study and practice of education, to influence public policy and improve community life through education, and to nurture graduates who are passionately committed to their professions. The Faculty aims to realize this vision by adopting a policy of sustainable learning, characterized by cross-disciplinary activity within the University, and engagement and partnerships with academic and professional communities, with the goal of becoming a stronger regional and global education hub.

As a Faculty, we enjoy a strong reputation in China and are well connected internationally. This combination of factors facilitates access to networks and enhances opportunities for international collaboration.

The Faculty works in close collaborations with other universities and educational institutions overseas, including University of Gothenburg, Sweden; Singapore Centre for Chinese Learning; Thabyay Education Network; University of British Columbia and San Francisco State University.

In addition, the Faculty has been developing partnership with overseas' universities and education institutes for academic collaborations and exchanges, such as immersion programmes, symposia and seminars. Our partnership universities include University of New South Wales (School of Education), Queensland University of Technology and The University of Queensland (The Institute of Continuing and TESOL Education) in Australia; Beijing Normal University; San Francisco State University, USA; and University of Potsdam.
